Riley is uncertain of the time period he will be out but, he is unable to continue to tolerate pain in his right knee and hip. "I'm just tired of the pain and the medication," Riley said. "I'm going to be displaced for a while, but not disconnected at all." Knee surgery is scheduled for Friday to get rid of floating chips but surgery on his hip is not yet programmed.

Miami Heat’s Head Coach suffered another loss against the Los Angeles Clippers last Wednesday and set their record at 13-18. This season has been lingered by injuries and three important players have been out of numerous games contributing to the team’s downfall.

These players include Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, and Jason Williams and now the team’s coach, who is of great support, will not be present to help the team get out of the hole it’s in. However, Riley did assure that he will be very much in touch with the team’s performance and will be physically away but will fulfill his duties by other means.
