Christmas Gift Ideas

We all love Christmas, a time of giving when we get to show our family and friends, just how much we love and appreciate them. However finding the perfect gift, which is both meaningful and unexpected, can be challenging. And since Christmas only comes around once a year, you want to make the moment special.

Skip the traditional socks and underwear and go for something extraordinary like a Digital Canvas print.

Digital Canvas Prints
Digital Canvas prints or Canvas Photo Prints make great-personalised Christmas gifts, due to the fact that they are so versatile. You can print anything from idyllic scenery to modern art, family memories, professional wedding photos, holiday snaps, children's art, the list is endless.
Another idea is to have an image of their favourite city, landmark or holiday destination printed. Alternatively you can pick an image from an online image catalogue.

Not only can you use your own photos you can also customise the size and shape. And by adding effects like Black & White, Sepia etc you can turn an ordinary image into a spectacular one.

When selecting the image think about how best to display it, some images are more suited to Portrait others Landscape, Square or even Panoramic. Which ever you decide Canvas Photo Prints are made to order which means they are totally customizable.

The added benefit is that you can order online, upload your image and get the Digital Canvas Print delivered straight to your door.

Buying a memorable Christmas gifts for loved ones, has never been so convenient.

Things to keep in Mind
Before ordering your Digital Canvas Print make sure your service providers use quality materials. High quality materials will ensure your digital canvas prints will last for many years.

Firstly the canvas, I personally prefer 100% matt cotton canvas. Which has a more authentic and stylish feel. Polyester canvas and even many poly/cotton blends can look cheap.

Secondly make sure that the prints are stretched around hard Kiln-dried wood frames. Wood is naturally porous, expanding and contracting as it absorbs moisture. Over time this constant expanding and contracting can cause the frame to warp. The solution is to use hard wood, which has been kiln-dried and treated to prevent moisture absorption.

Lastly the canvases must be liquid laminated to ensure the print is protected from dirt, moisture, cracking, scratches and UV damage. Once laminated you can clean off dust, by simply wiping with a damp cloth, with out the fear of damaging the canvas.

Filling our homes with family photos and portraits, ensures the memories will never fade or be forgotten. And every time your family and friends look at their beautiful Christmas gift hanging on the wall, they will undoubtedly smile, and think of you.
