It has been proven time and again that natural health supplements like vitamins and minerals don’t cause any irreparable harm, if the intake is regulated. The much maligned health supplements and natural remedies are actually victimised by the lobby of conventional medicine manufacturers and doctors using them. Their sustained campaign against naturotherapy has resulted in formation of a perverted public opinion against the non-conventional medicinal therapy segment.
The fact remains that they are a cheaper and in few cases more effective ways of relieving people of their conditions. For example menopausal women have discovered that black cohosh is an attractive alternative to hormone replacement therapy. Also people are increasingly taking kava kava as an effective anti-depressant instead of Prozac or any other medicine prescribed by the doctor.
It is an appeal to everyone that please don’t get misguided by the smear campaign of the pharmaceutical companies against the health supplements, herbal medicine and naturotherapy! It has been scientifically proven that they are safe and there is no harm in taking them as a cure of your problems. It’s easier to commit suicide by taking a simple drug as Paracetamol than by taking any drug available in a health food store. This comparison is here for all to see!
