Ordering wines online is much like shopping around in an actual wine store. There are certain factors, however, that you do have to consider before purchasing wines online; below are some product reviews that you might considered when buying online.
Mouton Rothschild 2003 is one of the classic wines of the brand Château Mouton Rothschild. It is also a good example of a vintage wine. Aside from 2003, Mouton Rothschild has also produced good vintages in 1996 and 2001. According to the fact a Château Mouton Rothschild is a wine estate situated in the village of Pauillac in the Medoc about 50 kilometers northwest from the city of Bordeaux, France. This estate's red wine, under the same name, is reported to be one of the world's best clarets.
The Blend
Mouton Rothschild 2003 is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. It has an alcohol content of 12.9% and has a dense purple color.
It is fermented in oak vats and then matured in new oak casks. This variety is also considered to be a First Growth wine.
The Label
Just like the rest of the Château Mouton Rothschild wines, the Mouton Rothschild 2003 has a unique label that was made by a famous artist. An authentic bottle features the image of Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, who acquired the Mouton estate in 1853, on the label.
The Taste
A Mouton Rothschild 2003 has a full-bodied, meaty, powerful taste with dry flavors. It provides a huge finish to the palate as well. It has a blackberry, cherry and currant flavor with just a hint of toasted oak.
This fruity, full-bodied taste combined with silky tannins, and a lovely combination of ripe fruit and vanilla give the Mouton Rothschild 2003 a unique and satisfying effect on the taste buds. Wines such as this one would best complement meat-heavy meals such as steak dinners.
Balanced and refined, it is a great vintage wine that any wine lover would be proud to have in their cellars as part of their collection.
