You laugh at the latest fad of cellulite reducing underpants. "It's not for me, it's for older women", you say. Is that true? Not really! Maybe you just missed that extra lump of fat sticking to the back of your thighs.

* Myth 1: Only Women Have Cellulite

Your chances increase if:

- You suffer from any problem related to hormone levels.
- Your mother or grandmother had it. Genetic predisposition can make you vulnerable to the lumpiness.

* A Good Lifestyle to the Rescue

You can save yourself a great deal of trouble and effort if you maintain a good lifestyle. Yes that means that even if you are prone to it genetically, a healthy lifestyle can prevent it. Here are some simple tips to follow and keep the fat cells at bay:

- Reassess your diet according to your activity level. Consult a dietician or a nutritionist for a proper analysis.
- Go in for detox diets at least once a month to get rid of toxins from your body.
- You don't have to turn into a gym bunny, but moderate exercise will not harm you either.
- To boost your overall wellness and to speed up the toxin elimination process, learn breathing exercises.
- Do not hesitate to pamper yourself with a massage. It helps to increases proper circulation, thus aiding the waste removal system.
