The decision turned out to be the correct one since two years later after Brohm had two significant injuries, Cantwell finds himself leading one of the nation's most potent offenses in college. Brohm will miss the next month after hurting his throwing hand leaving it up to Cantwell to keep Louisville's national championship hopes alive. What helped Cantwell decide to stay at Louisville rather than seek a transfer was that sense of duty, even though he knew the starting job would be Brohm's as soon as he fully recovered from knee surgery. But he got a confidence boost from coach Bobby Petrino shortly after And that sense of appreciation you do not see much now a days among college players who are just looking to show of for a gig on the NFL.
