If you're reading this you are definitely someone who is determined to grow, stretch out of your comfort zone and train yourself to succeed in Network Marketing.

You know that 97% of home businesses fail and you won't be a part of that.

There are several reasons the majority of people who start a Network Marketing or M.L.M. business fail. However, the major reason most fail is due to the lack of an advertising budget and having very little to no cash flow.

Most Network Marketers overspend and use ineffective marketing techniques like speaking to everyone within three feet (the 3 foot rule), cold calling, and buying business opportunity seeker leads. Oftentimes we can't get into profit mode fast enough to keep afloat.

To add insult to injury, statistically, 97% of our prospects or leads will never join our business.

However, there IS a way we can capitalize on that 97% that never join us in our primary business and monetize to build our advertising budget.

The way we do this is by offering high quality information that will assist our prospects. But what information are our prospects seeking?

If we are looking to find other Network Marketers to partner with, we can surely offer a solution to create a bigger and better advertising budget while we build our Network Marketing business.

The way we do this is by marketing a low-end retail product that will assist others with this particular problem. Offering a low-end retail product to monetize while growing a business is known as a "funded proposal." This will allow you to build an advertising budget while you are growing your Network Marketing business.

Now before we go into talking about which funded proposal concepts are worth looking into lets talk about building a list.

You should have your very own lead capture page and offer a freebie in exchange for a prospect's contact information, such as a free e-book or business tips. This will enable you to build a relationship with your prospects - very different from what you can do with prospects generated from those very generic lead companies and your company-replicated websites.

Many network marketing companies have their own capture pages, but they don't brand you as a leader, so it is important for you to eventually market yourself first by creating your very own capture page. This topic is beyond the scope of this article, but worth mentioning.

There are many products you can retail as a funded proposal. And there are several that are well-suited for Network Marketers.

The primary funded proposal I use is a training system that teaches Network Marketers how to attract business partners and product customers using social media/web 2.0 sites, such as YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook, as well as the Internet. This is also known as internet attraction marketing.

Internet Attraction Marketers build relationships with their own leads - instead of "recruit" - by offering high quality internet marketing and web 2.0 training. This way your prospects are being educated before they even join your business. And even if they don't join your business, you have retailed a product that's helpful to them and have increased your advertising budget!
