There are beautiful Thanksgiving decorations available today like artisanal turkeys crafted with natural feathers, faux vegetables like pumpkins, corn and gourds and twig-and-berry wreaths and garlands which you can make part of your Thanksgiving display. You can also add holiday cheer with lovely vase fillers like dried artichokes, acorns and faux golden pears and pomegranates.
To highlight the harvest theme, you can display a cornucopia and use seasonal fruits and vegetables as a traditional decoration for autumnal abundance. No Thanksgiving is complete without the traditional meal and so you can decorate your dining room by choosing a tablecloth, cushions, napkins, runners or tableware with harvest motifs.
This Thanksgiving, light up your home with the mellow glow of candles – choose from pillar candles, glass votives and scented candles. Scoop out apples and gourds and place a small votive cup into the hollow and display in a large bowl with berries and nuts to make a beautiful, natural candle centerpiece.
Christmas decorations can be elegant, contemporary or rustic. Festive Christmas decorations can also include centerpieces and elegant table arrangements. If you have dried cranberries or red berries left over from your Thanksgiving decorations, reuse them by creating this Christmas centerpiece. Fill a silver tray with the berries and place votives into the candles and place sprigs of greens under the tray or into the berries.
The Christmas tree forms the core of traditional Christmas decorations. With lots of ornaments and lights, the Christmas tree is a joy to behold. Every tree is unique and while some love real, evergreen trees, many go for artificial trees that can be reused year after year. Go for Christmas decorations in traditional Christmas colors in red, green, white silver and gold. Outdoor Christmas decorations can include a holiday wreath to greet your guests at the front door or a beautiful rounded swag over your door can set the tone for the holidays.
