However in general the main idea behind the conducting of brainstorming sessions so that each and every member in the team can sit and vent out their ideas on a particular topic and analyze its pros and cons. Merely sitting and discussing the ideas is not good it would yield more results if these ideas are used properly by following some of the good procedures would yield some of the best results. The process which is to be followed has been listed below:

• The topic has to be listed on a flip chart size page
• Start the contributions of the ideas with one team member and then follow it with others
• In one turn ask each and every person to give one idea per person
• Write down the ideas in a flip page and hang it on a wall
• Incase a team person does not have any idea then give them the liberty off saying pass
• When everyone is exhausted and has passed then the brainstorming session comes to an end

Topic: Once the topic has been listed on the blank page then this will prevent the people from getting ideas on multiple topics. One of the key signs when the team has effectively conducted a brainstorming session is when the team s able to focus effectively. Otherwise the teams will deviate and they would flitter from the topic away.

Team member: It is essential that you take the ideas from one member in one turn and then enable them to complete their chances this will create organization in the team and then in turn in each and every round the ideas get accumulated.
Every one would be given one chance for contributing the ideas this will give equal number of chances to all the persons.

This will enable equality otherwise one person would be sitting there with 10 ideas and another person with only 2 ideas. This just facilitates the function of providing greater satisfaction as well as participation.

It is essential that you write down all the ideas on the chart paper this just motivates the team to go on because of the fact that the list goes longer and they would be happier with their performance.

This is another one idea that provides more room from discussion as if the person or the team members are all exhausted with their ideas then it is important that they are given the option of pass rather than being forced to give an idea.

There is no need of discussion because once they are given the option of discussing then it becomes very essential that this is brought out as a divergent process.

Once everyone have told a pass then this assumes the fact that the brainstorming sessions are finished and there is no further sessions this provides a big list of the various ideas that can be thought about.
