Boot up even when all is gone

Have it ever occurred that you start your computer and it do nothing after the initial screen, only a black screen or blue screen is visible and from there it goes nowhere? Or, an error message saying “Boot failure” or “Hard Disk not detected” and so on?

If you have experienced it then you know what it is. If you don’t then I better clear things up. It happens when your Windows OS (Operating System) fails to boot up. It means you cannot get into the OS, therefore to other files. Many reasons can be there for this to happen.

1. OS system files are missing.
2. OS system files are corrupted.
3. OS system files are virus or worm infected.
4. HDD (Hard Disk Drive) failure.
5. HDD accidentally formatted.
6. HDD is corrupted.

Now a day’s laptops or PCs come with preinstalled OS. Therefore once it is unbootable you have to buy that OS which is worth hundred dollars. 1. Just insert it into your DVD ROM and install it.

2. After installation you can burn Windows 7 (or other versions) in to a CD, DVD or USB stick to make it a Windows 7 Boot Disk.

3. Insert the burned disc into the crashed PC and restart, when the screen asks you to boot from CD or DVD, press any key.

4. If you are using a Windows 7 Boot USB, then you may have to go some extra miles. The BIOS may not recognize USB as a boot device. To enable that, restart your PC. When the first screen appears, press “Del” or “F8” or “F10”. It depends on your motherboard actually. Usually the button you need to press is written on the bottom. For example, it may say “Press DEL to enter BIOS”.

5. Once you are inside the BIOS, find the “Boot” option. There will be options for “First Boot Priority” and “Second Boot Priority”. “First Boot Priority” will be set to either your HDD or DVD ROM. Change it to your USB drive or DVD ROM, whichever you want to use as the first boot device. Save and restart.

6. After restart, the boot sequence will take you to a Boot menu. Choose “Boot from LiveBoot” there.

7. After WinPE boots, you will be taken to a User Interface. There will be multiple tabs for you to choose from. Choose “Windows Recovery” and choose from the options given there and you are good to go. It will do the rest of the work for you.

Alternately this software can recover Windows License keys, login password (in case you don’t remember), recover lost or formatted data from HDD. It can recover data from even corrupted HDD. You can partition your HDD, recover your MBR (Master Boot Record), and clone your entire HDD (which will also be bootable!). Another great feature is if you want to wipe your entire HDD or certain partition completely clean.
