Literally the verse means God made the seventh day holy because on that day he took rest from all of his work. Christian groups, therefore, believe in it and rest on the seventh day of the week. However, it is sometimes debated that does God take rest? Does God sleep? Christian communities believe that man was the last creature to be created by God. Christian groups believe that man was the greatest creation of God after which he took rest. However, what does rest in that sense mean? Was God saturated after creating the whole universe?

Christian groups feel that Lord’s work was accomplished with the creation of whole universe. God has the power to create anything he wants. You can find several Christian communities online that discuss on verse 34 of the book of Genesis 2:3. Rest is an important part of the fitness equation. It is defined as relieving yourself from excessive labor work. Psalm 78:65 reads “Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a man wakes from the stupor of wine.” Does this really mean that God was in a state of unconsciousness? Christian communities discuss on many other issues which are questioned more often. Followers of Christianity have, however, strengthened their faith and believe in every word of the Bible. It becomes crucial for followers to believe in the teachings of the Bible as it might lead to severe punishment against God, who created the mankind.

Christian communities find the creation of the universe by God to be unique and wonderful. Though there are many facts in the Bible that question on the creation of the world, but Christian groups more firmly think it to be the faith on which they should believe. There may be similarities or scientific approach to the creation of the world but people following the teachings of the Bible do not move their faith or question to the words of the holy book.
