You are aware that a healthy lifestyle has positive benefits on your physical and mental well-being. So this is the year you have decided to take control of your health once and for all. You want to start eating healthier, exercising more, quit smoking or cut down on drinking.
The only thing is, that you haven't actually taken any steps to do so because you are not sure about how to go about making these changes.
The internet is a great place to start learning about ways to beat bad habits, addictions and to live a healthier lifestyle because of the wealth of information available. However, search engines can produce many thousands of results. Therefore it can become a laborious task of gathering information from the results, if you are unsure of what it is that you are after.
A good way to find the information you are looking for is to write down in a diary or another notebook that you refer to often, a simple list of ways in which would like to become healthier. In the list that you produce, you must be specific about what you would like to do. For example rather writing down 'exercise more' or 'eat healthy' you can write down that you want to join a local sports team or running group or eat more food containing fiber or omega 3 acid. These bullet points essentially become your goals and having them written down acts as affirmation of your desire to make changes or improvement to yourself and writing them in book that you look at regularly acts as a reminder for you to persist with your goal.
You can then begin to search for the goals on your list on internet using search engines. As you have written down clear and specific items, the results obtained from the search engines will be more relevant to what you're after.
Remember that your aim to become healthier doesn't have to be a challenge, with clears goals that you can work to, it will be possible for you to achieve what it is that you want.
