Stores are full with business greeting cards, so are catalogs we receive daily. But what would it take for your company stand out in the crowd? What design, what copy, what image?
Results have shown that there is still a great appreciation in receiving a physical card by a business partner. It creates loyalty, it refreshes the relationship, and creates a continuation of a business relationship that has been inactive. At the same time, it's a great way to thank those loyal customers who have made a difference in your business last year, and encourage them to be your loyal customers in the year to come.
The question is not whether you should consider a greeting card this year, but what kind of card? Our advice is to refrain from out of the box cards.
Your company sells a product or offers a service, that should be an integral part of the card. Play with the text and images, and create your own signature cards that say more than Happy Holidays.
According to the GCA, greeting cards have high retention rates. They are not thrown away immediately as with direct mail. Personalized greeting cards remain around the office, posted for about 45 days. Make sure that yours has an inpact, it's unique, it provides your company's name and product and that you send it out early enough so that it sticks around longer.
No matter what industry, you will certainly have a product to showcase.
Jewlery in a holiday box, a wreath decorated truck, a snow covered store window. Have a designer create the card for you; he/she might even be able to take some nice product pictures to use over and over again.
Take advantage of this opportunity to have your own personalized cards and make it into a bonding experience for your staff. Have them come up with the most creative message, the most thoughtful wish. Run a contest, or have them all sign the cards. You are getting them involved and the customers/partners will appreciate all the special attention.
If design is a problem, stick to providing BargainPrinting.com with your message and request to use some of our FREE holiday artwork. Our staff will gladly put the whole piece together for you, include your logo and provide you with a proof before printing.
