Back To Basics with Notepad Designs |

Notepads have three basic parts where any marketer can key in their design to make their notepad printing attractive to their target clients. They may be the most basic parts that a notepad has, but they do provide the parameters for many successful notepad prints. |

Header
The most basic and commonly used portion of notepads is the header. This is where you commonly find the company’s logo, as well as some of the most important contact details of the organization. It is the top most portion of your notepad.
Just like the letterhead in memos and legal documents that many organizations use, the header is the very first thing that your target clients will see in your custom notepads. It is therefore important to have an interesting and appealing header that your target clients will find easy to recognize and remember.
In addition to your logo and contact information, you can add your company’s theme and message. A very short and brief mission statement will work best in your notepad printing’s header.
Borders and Writing Lines
The borders and writing lines can be added along the middle portion of your print pad to accentuate the blank space. You can use as simple and minimalist designs such as the modern lines for your borders. On the other hand, you can always add pizzazz with French curves and accents. In addition, you can also make visible the writing guidelines to add creativity to your collateral.
A word of caution though, remember to avoid getting too much elements onto your pad as it may lose its basic function. If there are too many accents and borders, the space may become too limited for your target clients to write on. Remember that notepads are designed primarily for note-taking purposes.
Ending Signature/Footer
For most custom notepad printing, the ending signature completes the overall design with the person’s signature or official logo’s appearance. This is where you can add a bit of a personal touch to an otherwise impersonal collateral. The ending signature provides you with the means to get more personal by putting your own signature to the collateral.
For many professionals (e.g. doctors, dentists, and lawyers) the ending signature is their means to introduce themselves and have clients remember them. In fact, most of the professionals include their area of specialization as often seen in many doctors’ notepads.
The footer can also be used as the area where you can add your logo and contact details. To be different from the standard design, you can utilize the footer as your main design area and leave your header plain.
Having notepad printing for your marketing campaign helps you are recognized and remembered by your target clients. A personalized notepad can convey a very strong message not just once, but every time your target clients use your pads to write down their thoughts and ideas. The more they see your ad, the easier it is for them to remember you when the time comes that they need your particular type of service.
