Asia is the largest continent in the whole world. Most of the countries here are very young in context to their development. Asian countries are very rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture. Asia is a hub of various monuments which are man made or natural. Various spots in these countries are known for their heritage value and architectural designs and are declared as the World’s heritage sites by UNESCO.

Countries like India, Pakistan, China and other Islamic countries are religious one and have monuments based on their religious architectures. Many of these monuments are recognized and declared as the heritage sites of the world by UNESCO. These monuments define a great history of the Asian countries in which they are situated. These sites are also providing a great tourism destination to the Asian countries.

Some of the wonders of Asia are Wadi Rum desert, Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, Kujharao temples, Sigiriya, Ko phi phi, Sinharaja forest, Rara lake, K2 mountain, mount Everest, chocolate hills, Maldives Archipelago, Ganges river, Mount Fiji mountain, Chitwan national park, Flaming cliffs, Dead sea, Baikal, Konark temple, Ajanta and Ellora, Shanghai Financial Center, Osaka Castle, Golden Temple, Red fort, Hay long Bay, Cox’s Bazaar beach, Sunderban forests, Basilica of Bom Jesus, great living Chola temple and much more. The list of the wonders of the Asian countries is endless. Most of the mountains and hills stated above have been enlisted under the natural wonders of the modern world. The river Ganges is ancient has a great value in the Hinduism. There are various stories related to this holy river which have been mentioned many times in the great epics of Hinduism.

There are various monuments which are enlisted regularly in the wonders of the world. Asian countries like India, China, Tibet and many more contain various historical buildings which have a unique architecture. These monuments define a new identity of Asia which is wrongly called as the third world.
