Are You Tired of The Same Old Church? Enough is Enough

Are you tired of the same old same old ? Yes, the way church is today is not good and it's about time someone said something about it.

Are you tired of going to church and seeing everything that you didn't want to see? Enough is enough, and I am with you if you feel this way. Please understand what I am about to talk about. If you are happy where you are then good for you, but I know many of you are not and you are just dealing with it.

I am going to just talk briefly about this because it would take a book to deal with all that needs to be said. All I ask is that you be truthful about what you are reading to yourself first.

It seems to me and a lot of other people that the church, for the most part has become a big place for entertainment. Preachers are more concern about how they look and how they sound than about the souls of the people. Sometimes there is no altar call given after the message, so if I wanted to give my life to Christ after hearing the message I would not have been given that opportunity. We must understand that not everyone knows what to do or how to do things in church like others. Some people say making a cake is easy because they know how, yet others that have never made a cake may think it is a hard thing to do. We must learn as preachers to be MORE concern about the souls of man than just us. We must teach people how to come to Christ. What we need is more saints and not more church members.

We can even look at our singers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it seems more entertaining than reaching the lost. The songs should sound great but most important it should be helping to win the lost and minister to the saved to let them know that God is always there. Most of the time it's hard to tell the world music from the church music.

When was the last time you heard about hell in a message? When was the last time you heard the word sinner? What about living Holy? It's just so funny how these things are talked about in the Bible, but preachers are afraid to talk about these things for fear of losing members, and if you lose members then you lose the money. Need I say more?

If you are tired of church like this. then believe it or not you are in a good place. It means that you want more from God and you know that He is more than what you see in church today. Enough is enough. What I would suggest is that you began to pray to God to show you a better way and to help you find a church where you can gain a real relationship with the Almighty Jesus Christ.

It's sad to say, but we have become a church with itching ears. We want everything to sound nice and sweet all the time. I can't give my child ice cream and cake all the time, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or they will be very unhealthy. It's the same with church, sometimes we may have to say some things sometimes that may be a little tight but it's right.

This topic would not sound so strange if more preachers were talking about it. I have made up in my mind that I will say whatever the Lord would have me to say no matter what. People are dying everyday and many of us Christians act as though we can't help them make it into heaven. We have to try to lead as many of the lost to Christ as we can.

This is nowhere near the end of this article, but look for more on this subject in the near future. I know that many of you are tired of the same old church, so please help me spread the word that we are not alone.
