Are You An MLM Whiner? Stop Complaining! |

The whiners need to know that there is no perfect company. Nobody’s products will please everyone, and no one will experience instant success. The negative attitude of a whiner takes a toll on the entire company.
These people will never succeed in network marketing. They will spend all their time and energy tearing the company down and making everyone associated with them downright weary.
In contrast, a positive person will take things they don’t like with a grain of salt and move forward anyway. For example, I am involved in a gourmet candle business. Some of the distributors find it necessary to complain when they don’t like a new scent that our candle maker has developed.
Honestly, no one really cares if “Sally Sourface” is not pleased with the new scent. Many of her customers may love it and purchase it in bulk! The truth is that we all have different likes and dislikes. A good leader may turn up her nose to a candle scent that she finds unpleasant, but nobody will ever know that she dislikes it.
She will market every single scent available to her just as if she loves them all. What difference does it make anyway? The distributor is not the key factor here; the CUSTOMER is. If you tell your prospective customers that the new scent of the month smells awful, you are only hurting yourself.
There is certainly nothing wrong with favoring certain products over others as long as you put a positive spin on things. The problem comes when you bash your own company and its products. You will lose the respect of your fellow marketers AND your customers.
Others in your company will come to think of you as a troublemaker and they will secretly wish that you would leave for another opportunity. Just the sight of your name on the company message board will make them shudder with dread.
If you have been reading this article thinking to yourself that this sounds a lot like you, you should alter your game plan. Keep your negative opinions to yourself unless you have a solution to some sort of problem.
I am not suggesting that anyone should ignore potential problems within their company. If you see that something needs to be addressed, by all means do whatever is necessary to make it happen. If your customers complain about a product, you should certainly bring that to the attention of management. You will know when you are helping to resolve a situation as opposed to causing problems. Use your common sense and you will be able to see the difference.
So, are you an MLM whiner? It is not too late! Make an attitude adjustment and become a positive leader. We need more of them.
