Need to remember when and where you took that photo? Nokia has just the ticket. |

Now most Nokia phone’s already log the country of origin for your photo’s by using the cell location, however Location Tagger uses the built-in, or connected, GPS signal to add the latitude and longitude to the photo. This can then be used to show the location of the photo on a map, such as Google Earth – so that you can have a map that can show the locations of each of your photos. This will obviously be ideal for travellers to show off their holiday snaps & let us know where they have been – to make the less well-travelled among us thoroughly jealous!
While this will appeal to quite a lot of people, and is bound to become standard on Nokia Series 60 mobiles at the very least, you should be careful if you install this as the location will be transferred to sites such as Flickr. Unless you are happy with your location(s) being broadcast to everyone you should be careful when uploading photos to websites.
