Are You A Company Jumper? |
||||
|
If you find that you are a company jumper, my advice to you is to put a halt to it right away. You will get nowhere fast. The mere fact that it takes time to build a business is a good enough reason. |

Determine from the very beginning that you will do your research of all the companies out there. Select the one that really intrigues you and that you will be proud to represent. Check out the management team, compensation plan, etc. Make sure that it is a reputable company with integrity.
The exception here is if you find yourself in a business that you just don’t like, or you find that the company is corrupt in some way. By all means, get out fast and be more selective the next time. The key to becoming profitable in network marketing is to STOP surfing. Refuse to join the “next big thing”. Don’t even consider joining another company.
Make up your mind that you will be loyal to your chosen company and will promote it enthusiastically. Use the system already in place and work, work, work until you see results.
There are some great companies out there. You have a lot of choices. Do you get excited about nutritional products, home décor, candles, travel, legal or medical plans? Find the product that excites you the most and that you can be passionate about.
You want to promote a product that you really care about, and associate with a reputable company that provides you with great training. The only way to be profitable in network marketing is to choose one company and promote it, and yourself, to the best of your ability.
Once you reach a level of success that you are happy with, you can branch out and add another income stream. However, I do not recommend that you join more than one company in the beginning. It is hard enough to get one business off the ground. Don’t make things harder by dividing your focus.
In fact, FOCUS is a large part of business-building. Remain laser-focused on one company, one line of products, one compensation plan, etc. until you see success. Otherwise, your attention will be divided among two or more endeavors. I believe it will take you longer to reach your goals with two or more companies in the beginning.
Remain loyal to your company and others will notice. They will see that you do not have your hand in several different opportunities at once. I believe that company loyalty builds credibility for the distributor. Stay away from “company jumping” and focus on just one. Your reputation depends on it. Other opportunities will still be there when you are ready.
