April is an ideal time to visit for its sunny days and crisp cool nights. Depending on the Caribbean island, the climate in April is comfortable and not as hot as most people believe it to be.

A major racing event on Aruba’s April calendar is the Royal Nationals Drag Race.

Mid-April onwards is considered as the off-season during which luxury hotels have great deals and the beaches are not very crowded. It is advisable to wear cotton clothes during the day while light winter wear such as a sweater will suffice for the cooler nights. Formal wear is as essential as the swimsuits and sunscreen that visitors need to pack to make the most of April in the Caribbean.
