Colors give more emotions, and more message detail. The drawback however is that color posters are more expensive. Now if you have a lot of money reserved for advertising, that is okay, but if you have not then that is bad news.

Again, as long as you have a well composed message that is funny, witty or has a strong impact, then color or not, your poster can succeed. One poster is enough.

If you think that one large poster is enough for promotions in your shop, then that is definitely a myth you should forget about. In fact you should also know that 10 large posters cannot really have a great impact. The fact of the matter is, for posters to be really effective, they have to be almost everywhere and in numerous numbers. While one large posters may be great at high traffic areas, lots of smaller posters are good as supplementary aids in corners and small areas. A typical poster printing campaign should actually have several large color posters and numerous smaller ones posted in a wide variety of areas. So definitely one poster is not enough.

Posters are only for advertising.

Contrary to what you might believe in, posters are not really only for advertising in business. Many other types of posters are used as campaign posters, public relations posters, internal communications posters and even motivational/inspirational posters. So if you want, you can trying printing posters for other purposes besides advertising, who know what benefits you may reap?

Poster printing is expensive.

Finally one thing that you should put out of your mind is the poster printing price. The fact is, poster printing should not be necessarily expensive. With the right choice of poster printing service, printing options and distribution methods poster printing campaign can be quite affordable. It may even be a good investment in promotions if you are creative enough. So explore your options and do not accept high printing quotations. There is always a cheaper way so look for it.
