Acrylic nails are one of the most popular type of artificial fingernail and is used as either a nail tip, or a whole nail overlay. They are typically the strongest, thickest, and most durable of the artificial fingernails and are applied & removed easily, by simply mixing the powder with a special liquid to apply and soaking in acetone to remove. Acrylic nails can be dried faster and easier with the use of warm air, but for real nails, to avoid nail damage due to excess warmth, it's still better to dry it with cool air. They are also known as fake nails, artificial nails that are glued onto the real nails and can be long, cut short, French- tipped, thick, pierced, or even colored. Acrylic nails are best for those who are unable to grow their natural nails for varied reasons. They are not recommended in a tanning environment, because when the liquid in acrylic nails, referred to as methacrylic acid, is exposed in a heat-generating environment, such as tanning, the odor intensifies and causes discomfort to clients.
There are other beauty products and services available to enhance a persons looks such as hair extensions. These are usually made from real human hair but can sometimes be synthetic hair if a cheaper option is required. Hair extensions are usually glued in using a special glue to create bonds. There is also a wide range of quality clip in hair extensions availalbe on the market today which are made to look like your real hair. These can add thickness and length and can be fitted and removed in a matter of minutes.
