To some people, designer bags may mean that it's too big or it could mean that it's not fashionable enough for their style. As a teenager you have to understand how much money parents spend to get you want you want. Attitude is a big territory on this department.

You have just given your teenage daughter one of the coolest designer bags she had ever seen. Yeah she may like it now and parade around the house with it on her shoulder and would want to call up all of her friends to let them know what her parents got her for her birthday. However, their may be a time when she will get sick of it, and it may end up being on the floor with all of her other purses.

Your daughter may have begged you for a designer bag ever since she saw her friends with them. As she would have called it, it is the style now. As she shows her mom what they look like online, her mom may be more concerned about the price because they might not be able to afford to get her anything big this year. It might end of being one of those wait and see type of deals.

Your daughter may have thought of something different when she was looking online for it because the thing that arrived on their doorstep was not at all what she wanted. She may have been searching for the wrong thing all along or she may have thought she wanted one but when she opened the box, their was nothing but disappointment all over her face.

That could make any parent really upset when you spent all of that money just for her and now she won't even use it. You might feel like you have to yell and scream to get through to her but that will not solve anyone's problems. Instead of doing that, you might want to sit down and give her a long speech on how important it is to save money in their household.

After she promises and gives you a great big hug for the one thing she has always wanted, of course she heads to her room to call all of her friends just like any teenager would do. While she does that, you pay a bunch of money to have it delivered to your house.

You might want to call one of their good friends to spy on them and see how they're acting up. Other mothers think that might be a horrible thing to do to their own children but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Other mothers don't have the right to tell you how to raise your daughters. Your daughters might just need stricter rules.

Next time you might want to try reasoning with her and set up a compromise so she will understand what you went through to get that bag. Since she never wore that one, you might not want to get her anything else unless she promises to take care of it.

Teenagers don't understand what parents go through to get them things like designer bags, and then the purses get treated really bad because they end up on the floor and they will never use them again. Usually what happens to purses when they end up on the floor, is that she's going to refuse to wear anything else.
