While there are many different theories of personality, the first step is to understand exactly what is meant by the term personality. Behavioral theories put forward that personality is a outcome of communication between the person and his surroundings. Behavioral theorists study clear and considerable behaviors, rejecting theories that take personal thoughts and belief into account. Behavioral theorists take account of B. F. Skinner and John Watson.
