7 Ways To Boost Your Online Income With Blogging |

1 - Use a design that looks professional, stands out and is free flowing and not cluttered. People will not stay at a messy or scattered blog for long however if the page is designed well it will attract people's attention and encourage them to stay and read on.
2 - Keep your posts short, simple and to the point. People will lose interest if a post is too long or boring. Get your message across as quickly as you can and include links for anything that your are selling or advertising.
3 - Install an Opt-In Box on your blog. Offer a free gift such as a report or product if visitors enter their name and email address in the box. You then have their email address and can begin to send them emails offering any number of affiliate products or membership products that your wish to promote - turning a one time visitor into a life time customer.
4 - Use banners. Not only do banners look good but the majority of quality affiliate products come with a number of banners you can add to your blog which send visitors to your affiliate product sales page when they click on the banner.
5 - Add Twitter & Facebook widgets to your blog. This gives visitors the opportunity to see that you are a real person and you can begin to build a relationship with them. Ultimately they will hopefully add you as a friend on facebook and follow you on twitter which gives you the opportunity to keep in contact with them.
6 - Every time you write an article of press release, film a video about it and upload it to YouTube. Then upload your YouTube videos to your blog. The more different advertising methods you can add to your blog the better as it is more interesting and different methods appeal to different people.
7 - 2 in every 5 posts must be informative and not simply trying to generate sales. Visitors will not come back to your site if they feel you are trying to sell everything to everyone. They want to be given quality information from a real person and will be much more likely to buy from you if you offer them free training or advice and only recommend products that will genuinely appeal to them.
