Your big move day is right around the corner and tonight is the last night you will stay in your old residence. Certainly by now your feelings must be of excitement and impatience, but if you have followed this moving guide you should almost be ready to move. It would be a good idea to review this guide to confirm that nothing has been forgotten and that you are really ready for your move tomorrow.

Last Minute Packing
You will need to complete all packing today if you haven’t done so by now. If you need help ask neighbors, friends, and relatives to help finish your packing or you can contact your moving company to inform them that you will require some packing services. Be sure to clearly label all boxes and keep a detailed inventory list for your records.

Last Minute Cleaning
This is a good time, If you haven't already done so, to empty, defrost, and clean your freezer and refrigerator. Completely empty the refrigerator and freezer of any contents and eliminate any odors by using baking soda. You are permitted to keep the baking soda box in the refrigerator while in transit.

Another item to empty and clean is your stove and oven. You can also use baking soda to eliminate cooking odors. Reinforce anything you leave in the oven so it will not break while your movers are loading and unloading it.

Furniture Disassembly
Do the best you can to have all of your furniture disassembled and your appliances disconnected and packed if you did not request that your movers provide this service. If you’re unable to finish this task by tomorrow, contact your moving company and inform them that you will require this service. It is important to dry out all water related appliances such as dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, and freezer.

Last Minute Tasks
There are a few more things that should not be left for the last minute, as tomorrow will be a busy day. Some last minute tasks are to pack your suitcases, prepare a box of food and refreshments, prepare a box with toiletries, and charge mobile phones. And most of all, take some time to relax before your big moving day, and get some rest.
