No need to cook for hours with difficulties just to cook something edible that is both healthy and tasty.

Be simple, be easy
Most people make the same mistake: they think that only complex recipes are tasty, simple easy recipes are bad. That’s not true. You’ll be amazed at what you can make later from just a few of ingredients. I am the living witness of what I can make just because I think simple. To get you started, think of what you want to cook as you basic ingredients. Be it rice or potatoes or eggs or ham or something else. Create a rough picture of what you want them to be when it’s already cooked. Think of what you would do to each ingredient. Eliminate as many ingredients that are not necessarily needed. For an example, if you want to make a fried chicken, there are only two things that you desperately need: oil and chicken.

Never be afraid to try
Colonel Sanders give birth to the blend of herbs for his KFC recipe out of his trial and errors and rejections from a lot of people. What can you learn from him? Yes, always try out new things and don’t be afraid that it would turn out bad. Try to modify your original recipe into its simplest form. Take fried rice as an example. If usually you would need a lot of ingredients just to make one, why don’t you pick only the most needed ingredient for a start? In this case, it would be rice and oil.

Everything else is secondary and subject to modification. You can try using only oyster sauce or tomato ketchup or chili paste or something else. Be creative. Always pick a small portion of what you are cooking to sample. Understand what it lacks of and adjust accordingly. If your modification fails, be happy, because you’re one step closer to finally find your own perfect mix.
