Bryan Barrett with WGNS radio in Rutherford County (Mufreesboro) today brought up a very good point while Mayor Bob Spivey was on the Smyrna Show being aired from one of the sponsors Dempsey, Dilling and Associates Engineering firm. He asked the Smyrna Mayor if the national media has helped create and prolong this recession and Mayor Spivey felt that it had. As many who know me know that i consider Mayor Spivey a mentor, we don't always agree on issues but i will say the Mayor is usually on target when it comes to leadership. Bob Spivey with his business prowess and insite has helped Smyrna be the shining star that it is.
Value in my opinion is the ability to get more for less. Whether is shopping at Big Lots, Aldi food store, selling an item on Craigslist.com (hey its FREE - lol) or shopping at Sam's with a friend who can help split those large quantities "value" will continue to be the buzzword.
